Lis Neris is rooted in the Isonzo River Valley of Friuli Venezia Giulia, where soil, microclimate, and a deep respect for the land shape wines of elegance, complexity, and character.
I have been a collaborator- and a friend of the Pecorari family - for decades. Together, we have built an extensive archive of photography and film that documents the beauty and complexity of this distinctive territory: its vineyards, harvests, wines, people, and traditions.
The work follows the visual identity of Lis Neris across seasons and generations, from Pinot Grigio and Ribolla Gialla in the vineyards to classical-method winemaking, family portraits, and the daily life of the winery.
