Vie di Romans is a family-run wine estate in Friuli Venezia Giulia, shaped by more than a century of dedication to vineyards, wines, and the distinctive character of its terroirs.

The Gallo family’s story is rooted in the work and determination of generations including Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco, and their relatives. Since 1978, Gianfranco Gallo has led the estate with a rigorous approach to viticulture and winemaking, continuing a legacy that evolves from one generation to the next.

I collaborated with the family to create new photography and film that documents this relationship between people, vineyard, grape selection, cellar work, and the modern winery. The visual archive captures both the continuity of the family story and the precision behind every new vintage.
